Designed in collaboration with Booker Design Collaborative, the JD Nichols Plaza at the University of Louisville showcases how custom commercial pavers and architectural features transform functional urban infrastructure into a vibrant campus social hub. Situated between two parking structures, this multi-use landscape design features handcrafted concrete pavers, integrated site benches, and planter trims custom-molded to fit the plaza’s unique layout. Arranged in elegant rectangular and herringbone paver patterns, Hartstone’s durable, heavy-traffic outdoor hardscapes deliver modern geometric uniformity and high-performance safety for high-foot-traffic institutional spaces.
