Located in Darien, Connecticut, this 2024 HOBI award-winning Modern Farmhouse Style Home exemplifies a blend of exquisite architectural design and masterful landscape integration. The project was a collaborative effort led by architect Christopher Pagliaro of Christopher Pagliaro Architects, with landscape architecture by Tara Vincenta of Artemis Landscape Architects, and construction by builder John Sullivan from EC Structures.

This custom home merges a modern farmhouse aesthetic with shingle style architecture, featuring key elements such as a front patio and pool deck laid with soft white 18×36 tiles that seamlessly connect the luxurious interiors to an elegant exterior. The pool is elegantly outlined with 12×48 tile coping, and the accessibility is enhanced with 12×60 step treads. Additional 72×33 steppers provide a robust pathway through the beautifully manicured garden, leading to a cozy, covered porch that embodies the home’s serene and rustic charm.

The use of custom white concrete tiles throughout the property not only ensures durability but also complements the home’s modern yet timeless appeal. This standout property has not only been recognized with a prestigious HOBI Award but also showcased at the Connecticut Home Show, highlighting the pinnacle of home building and design by Connecticut’s finest architects, builders, and landscapers.
