Architect: Schrader Design
Builder: Arcadia Homes

This home project in Cornelius, North Carolina, presented a unique set of challenges that required precision and meticulous attention to detail. The primary goal was to achieve a seamless integration of various custom elements, ensuring that each angle and measurement was executed perfectly. The project involved numerous custom pieces, including pool coping, wall caps, tiles, and treads, all designed to meet the homeowner’s specific vision.

One of the significant challenges was the need to harmonize different sizes and elements, particularly where various materials met. The intricate chamfers on the wall caps and other parts demanded expert craftsmanship to maintain consistency and alignment across the project. Additionally, coordinating efforts with three different contractors added complexity, requiring effective communication and collaboration to ensure that all aspects of the project were executed flawlessly.

The deliverables for this project included custom-made components in the Color Ice White, featuring coping pieces measuring 16″ x 36″, and meticulously crafted treads, wall caps, and water table elements. Each piece was designed and fabricated to fit the project’s precise requirements, contributing to the home’s overall aesthetic and structural integrity.

Our services encompassed every stage of the process, from initial design consultations to the final installation of the custom elements. We worked closely with the contractors to ensure that all components were delivered on time and installed to the highest standards, resulting in a finished product that perfectly aligns with the homeowner’s vision for their Cornelius residence.
